SPENCER ARMSTRONG

Spencer’s productions have been presented at the Greek National Opera, HERE Arts Center, the Bushwick Starr, the Dramatists Guild Fund, and Dixon Place. 

Areas of exploration include queer liberation, the internet in millennial culture, midwestern values, sex positivity, and literature. 

He has had the pleasure of working with New York's leading downtown ensembles and companies, including Elevator Repair Service, Theater Mitu, Tectonic Theater Project, 600 Highwaymen, and Siti Company.

Spencer is a proud alum of the Lincoln Center Theater’s Directors Lab 2019, and the Beth Morrison Projects Producers Academy 2022. Spencer was a part of the inaugural class of the International Performance Ensemble at Pace School of the Performing Arts. 

In 2023, he was a member of the Mellon Foundation Producers cohort at The Tank NYC, and is currently a Mellon Foundation Producing Fellow at Beth Morrison Projects.
